This book came in hot and took me by surprise in the most amazing way. It was dark, mysterious and sexy in an forbidden way.

Sterling Sparrow is the male character I never knew I was yearning to read. I honestly don’t know what his next, move, word or touch is going to be, keeping me thoroughly entrenched in this story.

Araneae McCrie is the perfect mix of vulnerable, sexy and spice! Her past is a mystery she’s trying to figure out but to do that she needs Sterling and he makes nothing easy!

This book is impeccably executed, keeping you guessing, reading and honestly not knowing what the next twist will be. Author Aleatha Romig has the beginning of an outstanding series in her hands!!!

As this is not a stand alone novel I personally don’t want to give away any spoilers but trust me it’s a 5 star must read.

I suck in a deep breath of uncertainty and relief. Uncertainty of how this situation would have worked out had the phone not rung and relief that we didn’t have to dig our way out of this. Ryan drops his hand from the hem of my nightgown, and I don’t step back when he carefully leans forward to retrieve his work phone from the nightstand.
