|New Release & Review| The Lying Hours by: Sara Ney

ABRAHAM
DAVIS—Honest Abe to his friends—IS IN OVER HIS HEAD…
He’s a fixer
and a do good-er. The all-knowing, resident “grandfather” on the
wrestling team who everyone relies on to fix their problems. His teammates go
to him for everything; advice, homework, or when they need a sober driver at
three in the morning–whether he likes it or not.
Abe’s
current mission is easy: mend his roommates broken heart by helping him find a
girlfriend on the LoveU app–without getting caught in the lie…
SKYLAR
GABRIEL. IS. OVER. IT.
Over her bad
grades. Over her meddling older brother and his two best friends. And over
dating douchebags. What she wants to know is: where have all the nice guys
gone?
She longs
for a handsome, sweet, and honest guy who can make her laugh. In one last ditch
effort to prove that he exists—Skylar turns to LoveU.
On her worst
day, Skylar has no filter (it’s a miracle she hasn’t been ditched mid-date).
On her best,
she’s as wholesome, and sweet, as pie.
On Thursday?
She matches with Abraham Davis’s roommate.
Skylar
Gabriel is falling for the wrong guy—she just doesn’t realize it yet.
Why?

BECAUSE ABE
DAVIS IS A LIAR.

REVIEW:

In true douchebag fashion The Lying Hours will cause you to laugh, cringe and sigh with the antics that take place between the cover.

Author Sara Ney is hands down my go to author when I need to laugh and just feel good about what I’ve read. The Lying Hours stays in line with the Douchebag Series with its own unique plot bringing involuntary laughing when you least expect it and out loud reactions of “she’s gonna get your ass” or my favorite “oh my Jesus, no!” Yes, that happened to me in public! No, I didn’t care! Yes, all her books get that reaction from me because that’s what well written romcoms are meant to do. They are meant for you to laugh and react and this book brings all of that out in its reader.

I love the twist this book had with it’s character Abe! He was different than the other douchebags and that had a level of appreciation that I wasn’t expecting. Skylar was also a different female lead than what we’ve read before out of this series, personally there were times I called her the douchebag.

I give this hilariously amazing book 4 stars because I’m a petty bitch and wish we had more of an ending but the ending we did get gave me all the excitement!

Sara Ney is
the USA Today Bestselling Author of the How to Date a Douchebag series, and is
